First off. That bike will implode on use with a fork. yes I know you may have heard otherwise, but they were wrong, liars telling you things because they are evil. I on the other hand am willing to help you out. Give me the NOS GT and I will pay you a small sum for it. This way you don’t run the risk of it exploding on you.

I absolutely love those triple triangle GTs. I was about to yell out at a dude on a GT MTB with the triple triangle the other day but the gf stopped me. I guess she thought I was going to criticize him (par for the course).

Do you know how long the headtube is?
a buddy of mine has one (cant remember if its a pulse or a GTB, whatever the nicer one is) those things are badass. congrats on the find
note: he also got his complete for like 800 with njs superbe cranks that he didnt know were on it.

Looks like you have the same sort of frame as mine, one with no stickers on the top tube. When you get it, check out the bb shell and tell me what it says.

Do you guys think a white fork with chrome lugs would look bad with a black frame? I am going to running a white regal, and bar tape.

Didn’t they come with a flat-topped lugged crown fork? Threaded? I would put what came on the bike on it. The soma fork seems pretty similar. You can get it threaded now too!
I have a 1" threadless HS, a shim, and a thomson stem already…
I would go with a black soma lugged fork, I’m not sure the chrome and white would look good, could though.
Yeah I think chrome and white would look a little weird. Pulses came with steep sloped unicrowns, like this:
whereas GTB’s came with a lugged sloped crown fork, I believe.

it is amazing, and it is a Pulse, says made by Kinesis USA on the bottom.
a few small paint chips, but nothing a little touch up can’t fix.
its gonna have a black soma fork very soon. thomson x2 with profile bullhorns for the cockpit.
i have a set of silver Velocity aeroheads that may eventually be on this. that means more money to get them laced to the paul hubs…
Nice, nice. Yeah mine says Kinesis USA on the bb shell too. From what I understand, and this is based pretty much on heresay and rumor, this version of the frame was made in the USA with the same tube set as the Pulse. I contacted GT but they couldn’t tell me about anything pre-buyout. Anybody know for sure?
shants on BF seemed to be know some suff about these frames. is he on here?
