I’m not vegan, just a vegetarian who draws the line at skin.
dairy cows are kept alive in the same conditions five times as long. why draw the line at clothing?

They are kept in a condition of skinlessness? I draw the line at anything you need to kill the animal to obtain. I try my best to source humane sources of milk, cheese and eggs.

I’m also interested. I have some pretty bland New Balances, but there’s way more leather on them (like, any at all) than I really want. The problem is I need wider than normal shoes. Anyone know anyone who does that?

Thanks guys, I think it’s a toss-up between the Shermans and the Simple Shoes. Both are considerably less expensive than the $140 Vegetarian Shoes I bought last year… grumble grumble

we sell some simple eco sneaks that have soles made out of used car tire and “vulcanized” with bike tire.
each shoe is different, like the bike tire tread is different on each shoe. i thought they processed it some way and put some fake tread on it.
Auugh fuck, I was gonna buy those Razors when I got some cash, but they ran out of my size in the black and I’m just aesthetically conscious enough to not want to walk around all day in white/blue shoes. And now they’re $75! Fuck!
