I think they recently issued new guidance on how you have to control your bike with feet on pedals, bottom on saddle, and hands (not forearms) on bars. I’m not sure if they fully bar you from resting your forearms on your bars, but it’s one of those things where when there’s a grey area, the UCI can fuck up your whole day by choosing to enforce.

they banned the supertuck a few months ago, this is new rules as of like last week. they can’t just say “ride a bike normal style!” i gurss

Appropriately, the new rules started April 1st. No supertuck (the feet on pedals, hands on bars, butt on seat has long been a rule and how they’re justifying banning this), no puppy paws (invisible aero bars), and no littering outside of litter zones… unless it’s a bottle you’re gifting a fan, and you don’t do it too aggressively, and it’s near the finish.
