Hey, what's your Sundeal?

Neutrino pic from @igor’s website vs. a Blacksnow (mirrored for comparison’s sake).

“Hey, can I copy your homework?”

“Sure, just make it look different so it doesn’t look like you just copied it.”

“Sure thing.”

Probably not much can be done? There are a few key differences like the rear dropouts vs. the EBB, as well as the seatstay design, seattube height, front disc brace, top tube guides, and no under downtube bottle mount…

But I tell you what, that there’s a copy cat

maybe if I make a burrito supreme bike, someone in southeast asia will copy it and we can just buy that instead of fucking around with a production run

All bikes are copies of something though.

… and the BB is a full 60mm lower than on the Neutrino? Note that the Neutrino has 30mm BB rise.

Shit u rite. I thought it was a typo, but looking at the pic that is def. BB drop they have.

also yeah I am not a minivelo expert but 30mm of BB drop on a 20" wheel bike seems big? iirc that’s how much BB drop my old 26"-wheel’d hardtail had

Pics of the complete from a FB post

Bb does look super low

ya that looks way too low

The LHT mk2 Might actually be even turdlier than the surly. 1.2/0.9/1.2 main triangle tubes. Can you even imagine on a small?

The thinnest part of that tube is thicker than the thickest part of any bike I own.

I have a smol surly 1x1 that I reckon is less turdly.

updating exploded katu

i have a lifetime warranty and orbea requires that to be dealt with by an orbea dealer, so the bike has been dropped off and it has been confirmed by a certified orbea mechanic that is it “definitely broken”.

will update as things develop!

Friggin drop bar juggernaut got me feeling some kind of way. Not sure it’s a good feeling though…

Totally not surprised that the Katu would break there after thinking about. With the seatstay junction up high and the low top tube junction, any rear flex is just gonna cause the seat tube to bend where it joins the TT. Needs more triangles!

rudy and i performed some studies and discovered the seat stays want to move the seat post A LOT

Is that a motorcycle tire?

Naw just a minifat 20x4" smoothie.
