I’m trying to remember what we all brainstormed last time. Doesn’t the Katu use a fairly large diameter post, such that you could insert an inner sleeve in addition to welding up the crack, and then just use a smaller diameter post?

my thought is just throwing a post with the top chopped off down there, which i have, and thought i did, but apparently didnt.

then additionally a little “gusset” on the front side of the ST to the TT
