Hey @igor are you going to have a le sundeal complete for cheapass fuckers like me, or should I just check my parts hoard for shit parts I already have?

TC thought about hoarding every Sundeal that came up for sale

Why do you think I’m buying Jimmy’s?

I’d check your parts hoard. We’ll be offering wheels built w our hubs and either Velocity or our Voyager 20" deals if they make it in time - that’s the hard/inconvenient part. The rest is all standard, so your parts bin should work.

With those wheels I bet I can make one of those old 53/39 road cranksets work!

You’re making a sundeal? What will be the price of it?

I was running a 144bcd 55/42 crank on the Mercier when I owned it, with an 12-30 cassette. It worked great.

I may have one of those, bit I think it will not work with my 10 speed chain.

What was it like traveling internationally with the mini velo? Significantly easier than with a full sized bike?

Much easier getting around the airport as the box is sooooo much smaller. The bag we’re working on didn’t make it in time for our trip, but I think it would have been even easier. Not as expensive oversize cost either. I also didn’t get accosted by the local authorities asking ā€œwhat’s in the box??ā€

Building up is the same as the whole bike gets reassembled, but everything just bolts but on as the dangler and brakes are on the sliders and the front just bolts back on.

Is the Neutrino actually a move by Big Chainring to drive demand for 54t+ rings?

In the next few weeks I’m going to be painting mine and maybe adding mt200 hydros. I think I measured correctly and the rear hose length is about 1300mm. Does this seem right?

It doesn’t really matter, whatever you get will be long enough, and you just size by eyeballing it. Let me know if you need help installing them, it’s super easy, and as of this morning, I have an entire bike shop’s worth of tools in my basement

Cool. The shorter one is 1500mm. I also got some stick-on hose guides because the one’s on the frame are cable housing stops. Will need to remove those when I paint.

I am planning on switching mine out to hydros immediately, but I didn’t realize it had stops on there…
