I don't know which came first...

cheap beer of choice is definitely yeungling. the weird thing is that some bars try and sell it as a more expensive beer.

pbr is lonestar?

lone star is somehow under the pabst marketing umbrella, yes, but by that logic you could say BUDWIESER IS BUSCH since anheuser-busch brews both. speaking of the pabst brands, miller actually brews most of the pabst beers. PBR IS MGD.

i see your point though with the cheap beers being similar, and that’s valid.

im old enough to remember pabst still being brewed in milwaukee and enjoyed locally by my dad and grampa. even went on a tour of the brewery once when it was still being used for production.

i dont get this thread. $1 shiners and good jazz on monday nights at the greenhouse in denton is where its at.

From what I’ve seen / heard (granted I haven’t been to texas in years) the rancher type is very proud of their american-boot-up-their-asses-kick-those damn-mexicans-out lone star beer which the whole point of pointing out the pbr dos equis anhe0ser-busch thing is just that.

His tubes never puncture.

He can leg-through suicide skid for miles.

His Deep-V’s true themselves.

He can comfortably ride a too-small pursuit frame with 18" of seatpost showing, 40-degree drop stem and drop bars.

He pushes 56x9 barefoot, brakeless, with no foot retention.

Even the screws in his cleats are NJS.

These are the implants I look forward to most. Future, get on with it already.

to me coors light is cheap beer, i prefer to drink boulevard wheat thought

I gave up PBR and its like the very instant I could afford to. Good riddance. I guess I have also made the age transition where I tend not to drink to get drunk anymore (well, rarely), so I just as well should enjoy the taste. Plus, liquor is for getting drunk. Who wants to have to piss all night?
PBR is expensive in boston because its trendy.

Lol. Lone Star. Texas. Hah. Lone Star is the same exact beer as Dos Equis. Makes me laugh.
lone star IS pabst. pabst brewed in san antonio.

Dude I love PBR, but its not really cool anymore.

My friends and I drink Oly all the time now. It’s about to blow up.
I fucking hate the hipsters and their PBR. They are always like rolling up in their lifted trucks, talking about dirtbikes, drinking PBR.

bleh…

One of the dudes even made fun of my scarf, and I was like, “shut it hipster!”

Psh. Oly has been blown up for awhile in the good ol NW. Hamm’s/Oly/PBR are interchangeable here. I’m convinced your whole persona is a trolling joke though.

:bear:

even though lonestar is brewed up north now, it’s still bottled in texas. the old brewery is bad ass though!

please edit the subject of this thread, everytime i read it i think:

which came first, the chicken or the egg?

there is a bar in dallas where lonestar is considered an import, and pbr was considered a domestic
