yeppers, too small. that thing is the tits, F
This is the second or third time this has been up. I think $450 is a whole lot for a beat-up old Cannondale.
Nope. But I do understand why you would think that.
Listen, I love Cannondales an inordinate amount, but I think that’s an awful lot a cash to lay down for that bike. I guess I’m unwilling to pay the hipster tax, even though a 51cm Cannondale would be just my size.
This was on ebay not long ago… Looks like someone told him how popular these are righ now.
Fashion frame? No thanks.
Yeah not that excited about a beatup Cdale that doesn’t look quite as nice as the early 90’s blue, green or silver ones.
$600 and a bit of patience could get you the same frame in better condition.
Speaking as someone who owned one and foolishly sold it I have to disagree with all of you. Just because the current crop of douchebags sweat this bike fails to make it any less badass. The bizarre paint job only makes it sweeter in my eyes.
As far as hipster tax goes I seem to recall these frames have just about always gone for $400-800 depending on condition in the last 10 years.
Come on Hplusson… /too small
not at all worth it that thing looks so beat up. aluminum is not indestructible. watched the auction twice now. plus reserves and buy it now’s are for bitches.
…and its not really a 51 anyway. says its a 46 c-c, 48cm from the center of the shell to the top of the top tube, and has a 51cm c-c top tube. def a 48.
“Good condition”? What is good about the condition of that frame? That it’s not dented?
That is very tempting. Too bad it’s not tax refund time yet.
