Uh, see “work in progress.” I’ve locked broke-ass bikes outside before because I didn’t feel like dragging them upstairs. Anyway, I was just giving the benefit of the doubt - it probably is a jackassmobile.
OR just thought of this - maybe someone actually stole the brake? Fed up brakeless rider - or hipster anti-brake direct action campaign?!? I’d better start loctiting my brakes on.
