Yeah reversible. You’re probably right it’s too expensive for what it is
I have the original E-bike version of the IQ-XL and it’s a monster
looks like the Dynamo version was added recently and hasn’t shipped yet, but will fill the hole left by the Luxos U with its battery standlight and highbeam
but Ladelux – SON Hub Dynamos will come out around the same time with the USB charger feature off the same battery as the highbeam
and Supernova’s great M99 DY PRO came out three years ago
Waiting for that ladelux
Toplight line plus?
I have one of those lying around. The mount doesn’t really fit my bike which doesn’t have a rear rack. Maybe I can find an adaptor
Maybe this plus a custom-bent bracket is what I need!
Yeah or a hot glue gun
I think there was a 3d printed non-rack toplight adapter bracket floating around here years ago.
Found it!
The fork mount kludges are definitely my jam. BOOM
kind of expensive for a piece of plastic but it sure is convenient. You could also print something to do the job if you have a 3D printer
Looks like they are OOS at bike24 right now, I think it’s definitely worth it to snap up one or two of these on every Euro order but I don’t know that it’s worth $17 having had one for a while
I’m running one of these on my DoubleCross… it’s fine! Clunky looking, but fine!
The other advantage is that it took me 75 seconds to install
The stand light in my iq-x stopped working. Is there an easy fix or should I swap it out?
I’ve had a crimp snap but was still held together with shrink wrap. Took some prodding with a volt meter on the wires to find it.
when this happened to me, I took the whole thing apart and figured out that the standlight LEDs on the top PCB had just fully fallen off- nothing to be done but replace, I’m afraid
Dang. Guess I won’t waste my time messing with it.
