IDGI

I’ll start the thread for you, Nate.

And one at vSalad too

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/bik/4272822335.html

that’s got to be a joke

What I’ve learned in my brief time in Seattle is that there are PLENTY of people with the money to drop on a Venge that they never use, for whatever reason.

status symbol

in toronto we sold tons of high end bikes as it was the new golf. Dudes/girls were making deals on the group ride, not on the links.

This, and if there is any actual truth to the “doesn’t fit” part it’s that the position didn’t agree with the physique of the rich dumbass who bought it on a whim.

hello fuckin tire kickers
“i am SO INTERESTED gif me moar info!”
-give more info-
“OMGGGG SEND FOTOS!”

“CAN YOU SEND MORE PHOTO OF THIS PART!!!”
-send more photos-
A.“oh wow, beatuful biek, GLWS!”
B.“my wife would kill me if i bought another bike. GLWS!”
C.“It’s just 1 cm too big/small. GLWS!”
D.-no response-

Or maybe it “fell off the truck”?

in case you need this, here it is
I have a beautiful custom fixed gear frame for sale. It’s built up with very nice wheels, beautiful Nitto quill stem, a great rear cog, and sub-par components for the rest. I had this frame custom manufactured for me and custom powder coated. It was manufactured in Michigan and designed in Norway. The hubs on this beautiful machine are hands down the greatest I’ve seen. They will spin for ages.

This is an AGGRESSIVE bike with a very short wheelbase. It came with no lugs and no holes in the frame but I paid a machine shop to drill the crown of the fork for a front brake. The clearances between the tires and frame are very tight.

Right now I don’t have a seat post for this bike, but can get one on for you to test ride. It comes with a saddle of your choice and extra tubes. There is a small dent on the top tube but this is a chromoly steel frame. The frame itself cost $600 to manufacture and an extra $100 to powdercoat. Plus you’re getting a very nice wheelset and the rest of the components. If you’re into riding fast and aggressive, I dare you to find a more capable bike.

The rear hubs do not support a free wheel, so right now you can ONLY ride this as a fixie.

Email if interested and I’ll send you my phone number. Cash only. Test rides on Capitol Hill. Serious inquiries only.
This aggravates me so much. A whole lot of verbiage about the awesomeness and customness of the frame and the parts…WITHOUT ANY ACTUAL FUCKING FACTUAL INFORMATION.

“custom frame…AGGRESSIVE…” What’s the actual geometry?
“designed in Norway and manufactured in Michigan” By who?
“short wheelbase” how short?
“it came with no lugs” There are clearly lugs on this frame.
“saddle of your choice” My choice? Brooks swift Ti please.
“very nice wheelset” How about you fucking name the components and then I’ll decide how nice it actually is.

And that’s before even getting to the part that you have a presumably custom frame built just the way you want it…that you then have to have the fork crown drilled so you can add a brake? WTF?

Not one proper side-on pic of the bike?

Oh holy hell that stem height, bars, and general set up. W T F

Those cutouts look like novatec.

even a double fixed hub will take two freewheels.

hope the builder is a member of http://www.michiganframebuilders.com/

but I reckon it was more likely built as part of Koichi’s class in Flint by a noob.

The cutouts and hollow axle make it a dead give away for vuelta hubs. Derp same thing as novatec.

that frame looks like one of those Viking Cycles frames (aka Alien/Kazane) that people were really into at the peak of the NJS fixxay craze

That’s was I was thinking too.

If I ever start a bike company I’ll make the tab for geometry just say “aggresive” or “chillax”

Nailed it.
I don’t have the exact geometry specs of this frame, but the bike frame was bought from http://alienbikes.com/

The wheel set, frame, and components are all purchased through Alien. The wheels came pre-built. There are pisto track bars on it. The Nitto stem is extra long and is inserted completely. It’s a solid piece of aluminum. The saddles are nothing to get excited about, I have an older road saddle in very nice condition and a brand new WTB that comes standard on Surly’s. Let me know if you have any other questions.
