Things have progressed in recent weeks after the original version of this ad was posted. Wish I would have saved a few of the revisions and rebuttals. He is tackling a rather large number of JA CL sellers in one nicely done ad.

it has a couple scuff marks from when the wheels were stolen but is almost brand new condition
Edit: 56.5 Etta
197 ht
Sounds legit.
56.5 ett
57.5 would be fine, level toptube colnago with a 20cm headtube (60cm frame) is 57.5 or 58cm I can’t remember

Yikes and with an external bearing headset to add to dat stack
Need stack/reach to confirm JA.
u guise are chasing paper tigers
my Time has the same HT and TT lengths, just with a slammy -10 140mm stem
the front-center on that serotta isn’t all choked up, probably has a 74 degree STA keeping the ETT down
it still has some drop to the bars, it’s really not bad at all
All right I’m gonna fucking bite, Fred.
I ride like a 58+ tt. I’m 6’2". My saddle height is like 180.5. I’m a total fatass. Lets say 7cm drop. 185 HT is fine for me.
Wtf?
I mean, hey it would be awesome if I could be PRO and run 140 stem but c’mon that’s bullshit. That’s some custom dentist ridiculous short tt shit.
Also: I mis-typed its a 56.5 tt.
and that’s a great price if it fit
^ Have to agree that it doesn’t really make sense, except my saddle height is 75cm, I prefer 56-58cm top tubes with 130-110mm stems, that serotta would have like no drop if I were riding it and ‘56.5x57’ is nominally pretty much spot on for my ideal size, and like I said the external bearing headset effectively adds like +3cm to the head tube versus most modern bikes with integrated bearings. My 58cm caad10 for example has a 180mm headtube, I have a -10 stem slammed with a slamthat stem bearing cap and only have 8cm of drop. My 56cm frame with a 13cm head tube has an effective 16.5cm head tube taking into account the headset.
180cm is an impressive saddle height for a human btw
edit: oops! 80.5cm
And Fred, I can’t believe you’re defending this bullshit geo.
what’d you measure it in then, barleycorn?
sure it’s a snowflake ‘professional fit’ bike
but it really isn’t terrible, the angles are reasonable, you can just eyeball it to see that the front-center is normal
the wheelbase is perfectly fine for the saddle height, it’s jacked to get the bars up for the fat owner
but not particularly more than a Roubaix or anything, and it doesn’t even cross the line into faster backwards
stop looking at the ETT like it’s a meaningful number, the designer tweaked other shit to make it ‘bespoke’ and give the owner something to hang his hat on, without actually dicking it up mechanically
itt people who don’t understand how bike fits work
ett is irrelevent
im gonna bust this chart out again
bike is off, but not in a super bizzaro way
note that although a 60cm frame has a 585 top tube, the 72.5 STA is going to be significantly slacker than the serrota. Fit enough bikes, and like fred said you can see how the bike sits over the wheels. Sure that bike is kinda upright, but hte owner would be fine on any modern 58cm endurance road bike like the cervelo r5
also, to run a 58cm top tube at a 75mm saddle height, with a 130mm stem you either ride no setback, no drop or have the proportions of an ogre. seeing as 74cm is nominally seen as a 54cm bike, you probably just run your seat way too low.

for me it’s 57.5tt, 110 stem, 8cm dorp but the saddle height and setback are the same. Don’t claim you’re some master of bike fit then go on to say stupid shit and demonstrate your lack of reding comprehension like this btw and ETT is fucking relevant jesus christ
