$2 Shimano external BB bearings.
$20 Special angleset headset, slackens head angle 1.5°. Bought off a dude who makes them in his shop, fairly nicely machined but not perfect. Works fine but if you turn the bars way off center eventually it starts to feel as if your preload is a bit tight. Fine when near the center, and it still turns fine, it’s just not silky smooth through all 360° of rotation.
