Kilo TT sizing

I still use my fixie for commuter/beater duty, but fuck a kilo

I thought it was funny when I thought it was from 2008, especially when I saw the sweet namedrop of bfssfg. Them I saw the date and fart-laughed. Flaughed or laufarted?

larted

Would guysshoe a Kilo WT if it came to it.

But really fuck locking a bike up outside for an extended period in this town.

meh, any fixed gear i build in the future is going to be a beater and is going to be just a conversion of some cheap frame. putting as little money and effort into fixed gears as possible, if, in the future, i put any money or effort into it.

These guys are kind of being dicks, but I could probably help you out.

I’ve got an Excel spreadsheet that spits out suggestions, but I’ll need you to upload your measurements and the frame measurements into an .xls file. If you do that, i can give you a good idea on what will work best for you.

Make sure to do everything in columns and not rows, or shit will drive me insane.

Oh yeah. For the frame I’ll need top tube length, chainstay length, headtube angle, seattube angle, fork rake, and desired tire size.

In that order, if you please.

TC: I kinda want a bareknuckle.

tc i’d pick up another eighth inch scrambler in a heartbeat, was able to fit that 35mm tire in the back.

did not give a shit what would happen to this thing.

i saw it on craigslist a year after i sold it and considered buying it back.

tc: iduno what it is with me and black/green bikes.

I like my paddywagon, but it’s more a road bike and less a sw8 fixie.

I like my T1 coz sweetest fixie

I like my 3 sweet fixies.

a few things to get yr fit perfect
what size bag will you be wearing and how much stuff in it?
this affects teh weight distribution and that really matters
coz you never know when you gotta get real agile in the traffic
if you ride iwth a heavy bag you wnat the smaller frame
the nagle from yr shoulders to the bars ends up being steeper which means stiffer which means stronger

also if there will be a sweet basket on the front like a cetma
you definitely want a 650c front wheel, it helps with getting the proper angles and weight distribution

again the most impoartnt things

make sure you can use a mutant stem with it too
zero setback seatpost
with brooks saddle

oh yeah one more thing
do you have any tattoos or piercings yet?
if not then you need the 55cm frame…get the smaller frame when you get the tatty’s
if you do have them already then you need the 53cm frame

Thanks so much for your concern man, but I got fitted at my LBS and got a bike there.

extra cool cuz kinda rare

Keep your eyes on the nagles though.

What’d you get?

2013 Raleigh Rush Hour/57cm

520 frame with similar geo to the kilo TT.

Shoulda got a 420 frame.
