So I’m stuck between the 53cm and 55cm frame sizes for the kilo TT.

My freind helped take these measurements and I don’t think they are super precise but should be a good representation. We kept on getting 32in and 32.5in for the inseam, so I took the average of 32.25.
Over at BFFGSS, 5’11 riders said that I should get the 53cm but a few guys said I should get the 55cm.
It depends on how aggressive you want to ride. The 53 will have more seatpost exposed and a greater drop to the bars. This is better if you are more aggressive an ride fast. If you just want to cruise and ride slow, the 55 will be more upright with less saddle to bar drop.
Either way, I would recommend using a 650 front wheel to get the angles steeper. This will make it handle better is traffic where you need to be more agile. It will also make the top tube slope down and make you more aerodynamic.

Not really. The sizesisted should work fine if you use a 650 front as suggested. That’ll make the front end less tall and lower the bottom bracket, in effect giving you a smaller bike

it will be the wrong size. it is your first bike. 53 or 55 will fit. its from bikes direct and their sizes are ass.
in other news I have a 54.5/55 road bike I am offloading that would prol fit you pretty french.
Bro, I will sell you my sweet track bike. It has a 54 top tube and 56 seat tube so it’s like the best of both worlds. It has like 3 coats of paint and epic track parts like a pista headset.
