I have no experience with the P/R, but I’ve got a Model G and its tarcktabulous. Course, it’s a much simpler bike, but still me likes it.
Longleaf bikes is taking over the P/R, since the Kogswell dude moved to California and decided that he’s only going to make 26" wheel bikes now for some reason. Longleaf is 1000% more together than Kogswell ever was (I got my P/R from them).
Kogswells are nice bikes but I would not sweat not getting the fenders - they’re steel (or at least the first generation were). I took mine off and replaced them with SKSs, and have never looked back.
i just remember kogswell being a huge prick on bikeforums, not a cool prick like we were though
