It seems like Campy stuff actually goes for cheaper sometimes because it’s not as popular. At least on Craigslist and the like. What kind of wheels are you going to build/buy? Old school style or something new and light?

I’m not sure on the wheels. Ideally it would have Mavic OP to Record hubs, but that won’t be happening 'til I sell some frames. I’ll probably end up using whatever’s cheap for the short term.
I ended up scoring some newish Mavic OP to '08 Record hubs for $350. Not too shabby, but they have blue and gold alloy nipples. Hahahaha.

All blue but just one gold, apparently. The picture makes it look like just a random spoke was chosen to be graced with the golden nip, as opposed to people sometimes placing a different color near the valve.
you pretty much have to keep the color theme going.
I don’t really believe in bikes matching. Maybe next fall for my birthday I’ll ask for some ceramic OPs to relace the hubs to and use some brass nipples.

and i think of all the moving parts a headset is the one that i would be least likely to spend money on and is probably the best place to cut a corner.

save some monies, pretty sure this price includes VAT (17.5%) which you don’t pay. just order alot at once because shipping is a little higher and you don’t want to pay it for small order. right now the exchange rate is 1.46 usd to the pound.
