need a new wool winter cycling cap (w/ earflaps) - recommendations?

i got dark green
considered the purple, but its too grey/dark for me
everything i own right now is dark colors/black

Surly caps are made by Pace, not Walz, I thought.

Just yesterday, I bought a Sugoi Belgian-style cycling cap, like the one in question. I picked it because, unlike all the others I have seen, it has an actual hard bill. Most other caps have soft fabric bills which just kind of sit there, and I hate those. Not only can you not flip them up, but without any retainer in the bill, they never conform to the shape of your head. It would appear as though Rapha has the hard bill, but it’s hard to tell.

That Rapha looks super nice and if I haven’t just bought a Sugoi, I would hesitate to drop $30 on that cap.

Capoforma Retro Wool Cap or Sugoi Walleroo. Both super-soft merino wool. The Sugoi is $40 and worth every penny. The Capo is twice the price and somehow twice as nice.

And the Wallaroo is the Sugoi cap I got. It’s really, really nice.

Waiting on an octopus, stoked. the work of theirs i’ve seen is dope and price is comparable to the sugoi’s and the like.

Bonechilling: do the flaps cover all of the ear?
Does it feel bunchy under a helmet?

Yeah the Sugoi Wallaroo is hot. I think I’m getting a shipment of like 25 Octopus caps in soon, I can’t wait to try on my winter one. I really like the Octopus spring cap, so I’m psyched to see the wool ones.
