sugoi or the rapha, they’ll work just fine. Sugoi is just 100% wool with a silky liner.

That three panel action is kinda ugly.
Just picked up this and the T-Mobile cap of the same design for myself as a present for reaching a milage goal I had set for myself earlier than expected.
what was the total for the two shipped in usd$?
25 GBP, so ~$42.
I love the regular Octopus caps… just got a shipment in of an assortment of their caps. The winter ones don’t really cover my ears so well (maybe my face is weird?), the flapper ones are cool and probably nice on windy days but I’m not sure how warm they’ll keep you. It’s still a pretty thin wool. I still like my Octopus cap more than my Walz, though, for nice weather. Lighter wool and fits better.
For winter caps, the Sugoi blows any other cap I’ve tried out of the water.
This local lady is making custom hats. I got two winter hats made for me. She makes them from recycled materials (wool pants, jackets) and the flaps are made from sweaters. I am sure if you asked her to make wool flaps she would. I also gave her a t-shirt that had a bike on it, and she made it into a hat for me. I think that one is my favorite, because it fits so fucking good.

This one is a light colored grey with blue flaps
and the custom one,
She makes them for pretty cheap. 20 shipped. Just throwing it out there for ya’lls
Should have “don’t ask, it doesn’t mean anything anyways” on the hat too
You should, but why bother?
Ride hard and create morals.

My Octopus winter cap leaves my lobes exposed too. Wasn’t sure if I should’ve ordered a large instead of a medium (though measurements point to medium). My favorite winter hat is still my Swobo. It doesn’t get too cold down here but I used it while riding in Ohio last winter and it did a decent job.
It leaves most of my ears exposed, just kinda covers the top.
I got this bad motherfucker and one in T Mobile colors today. So warm and plush. My new favorite thing.
what’s the quality like on those caps? i have the normal jolly cage nalini cap and it was flimsier than the “red your dead” business strategy.
Only had it on for about an hour, but it is thick and comfy and bad ass. Don’t see any shoddy stitching or anything of that nature.

gets cold for us too…. at least my ears and fingers, but I still haven’t worn it outside yet…. waiting for it to get colder
that’s what I’m afraid I’ll have to do if I want to fit it in something under my hellmut
lov my hair
although it is falling out and I’m about to make a thread about that
mine kinda works as ear warmers under my helmet straps
added flaps to my cap. no elastic or stretch to 'em so they’re kinda floppy, but helmet straps keep it in place just fine.
fleece-lined wool fuck yes.
So our shop can’t order Rapha.
BC or any other shop rats know what channels to order Sugoi from?

sugoi is a cannondale brand, so probably not available outside of cannondale dealers.
