I just bought my gf a cdale wool cap for my gf and it’s really well made. I tried it out and its definitely as warm as if not warmer than a traditional night watch wool cap. It’s more than I personally like for the mid atlantic region but I’d rather be on the cold end of the spectrum while riding.
I have a Nike brand cap that I like more than the rapha one. I have a problem with throwing caps into the laundry and leaving them to dry so I have replaced 2 brims on both the rapha and the Nike. The Nike one is a tecno performance fabric and the rapha is a wool blend.
Gotta say the Nike one rules. I bought it at a swap meet from a trek/Nike/discovery rep a few years back
Also, I want to put this one out there: I can do a pretty good replacement of winter hat brims(if they’re the right design).

Hmm… I wear like a 7 1/4 fitted cap and the one I tried on didn’t feel huge, but maybe they fucked up the cut on these and that’s why they’re marked down.
really it’s that big? I might get it then, my head is huge 7 3/4 big
