Fuckin a I’ve wanted brass-colored brass nipples for years

Oh that’s neat.

I doubt you get years out of them, more like a year, and then you have a nice patina.

True, but that would also look bomb and spark more joy than aluminum

I’ve used these before, might be the same source

I don’t want to rebuild the wheels on the Stumpjumper, bookmarking anyway, just in case…

I still need to nab one of those!

I thiiiiiink the PNW is a TranzX

The OneUp is their own design, from what I can tell.

I have a 30.6 on one of my bikes. It’s not like any other dropper I’ve seen. It also uses an adjustable and shimmable air spring. Though the 27.2 model doesn’t have the shim ability?

at least the ranier looks to be something not off the public facing catalog. would 100% not be surprised if they were the OE tho

PNW is TX with some minor upgrades (mostly cosmetic)

OneUp was TX in the first generation, they probably still manufacture them but OneUp seems to have added in their own engineering.

Pnw are hack capitalists

Oneup actually want to create value

A budget Gordon gekko vs bud

I was very confused by this until noticing what thread this is.

Same!

My Oneup on my Bullitt definitely isn’t a TX.
I think.

This is an interesting comment from Rob English on that truss fork he built for the Cane Creek bike.
