It was a really terrible bike and I’m glad it’s gone.
That art’s done by Chris McNally if you want to see more and not look at Ibis owner manuals.
I’m entertained by it but for sure it’s low brow.
Like rick sachs and his “gives good blue job atmo” captions on a joe bell paint job
Let’s take a moment to remember Cove bikes and their absolutely over the top model names.
Nice to see a steel MTB chainring. It would be nice if the spiders fit acoustic cranks, too.
Am i reading that right, 200 for a chainring? I guess the target market is high dollar e bikes so maybe that makes sense?
Wolf tooth makes some of their rings in steel. But only in trail bike sizeways.
Sram makes steel rings for mtb too. Pretty nice for the price.
Likewise my Race face OEM cranks came with a steel ring, and I see lots of them for cheap at the recycled-parts place.
FSA too. We usually have a bin of spares.
I wish I rode enough for that to actually be a good idea purchase
If there’s a cheap aliexpress version I’d buy it only out of spite for the price.
Jones bar and a couple extra spacers pretty much does the same thing?
There’s the “Ganopper” stem with more offset and less height https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804168249720.html
He wants the 6-8° grip angle of a traditional handlebar and to angle the roll of that traditionally — can’t get there with a swept bar, or with a very tall riser bar rolled back
Basically he’s doing PVD shit but on legacy short reach short front-center bike geometry, where PVD is making his frame’s cockpit ~6" longer. Him and PVD already got into an argument in the comments here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CcgVCaFvQsm/
It would be more fun to see a kook-off between him, Jeff Jones, and Geoff Apps
Wow pvd is a real piece of shit
LITERALLY NO ONE is riding bikes both up and down hills
you guys are just jealous that he invented learning
