Good in theory, but even Ratio-tech has 3 different 12 speed ratchets… one for sram wide, one for sram road, and one for shimano road. I wonder if shimano wide has the same cassette spacing as shimano road?

I kinda like that. I bought a Ti tool from an IG ad and it’s nice but needs a pouch to keep the bits, this being a bitholder itself solves that problem.

not the prettiest crank in the world but $cheap$ if you’re looking for a 46/30 or 44/28 road double. 45mm chainline, 148mm Q, 24mm spindle for use with Shimano BBs. At $100 it undercuts the already-a-screaming-deal GRX600 crankset by a fair margin.

I had a Samox crank on my fat bike and it was as cromulent as the day is long.
Oh, access to 104/64 BCD rings on a road chainline for that subcompact life.

I have one, it’s really light and works pretty well for what it is. I think they updated it recently to change the bit layout and make it harder to lose the small bits, which was my only complaint.

Am I missing something? That seems like a flat pedal that is more annoying and requires totally un walkable cleats?

It’s 3-bolt, so made for road shoes. So its more walkable than a road cleat I guess.
I wonder why they offer 5-packs. Rental fleets somehow?
probably easier to use than my current road shoes, which are spd-sl knockoffs.
I’m actually fascinated by them. Not that I’d run them, but I have a lot of questions about how they work in practice.

It fixes a complaint about flat pedals on mountain bikes. Mainly that you can put your foot onto the same spot every time.
Without a 2-bolt option, I don’t see it getting much use outside of fitness bikes.

definitely for Spin Class bikes
The one discipline where there’s no danger of falling over clipped in, and finding yourself detached from the flywheel begs for a pedal to the shins
