KMC now has some cassettes made of hi-ten steel. Probably good for a mid-drive hard on drive train components. The 11s 42T jawn is 800 g, though.
they are getting sooooo close to mountain bikes. Drop another 2 chainring teeth and add it to the cassette.

I’ve heard that these are pretty underwhelming, especially with high volume tires.
Rockbros seems pretty legitimate tbh, but honestly I am not sure i would trust something with a battery that small.

I’ve got a Ryobi one of those, just curious about a smaller one to throw in a bag. And whether the Rockbros was a knockoff of something I wasn’t aware of.
I would guess a real company couldn’t back up the tiny motor/battery working for years, but it’s fine if you consider it relatively disposable.
the ryobi inflator is by far the worst ryobi tool.
- i’ve had two and neither gauge are even remotely accurate
- the chuck is pretty poorly made and eats stuff
- there’s no lock on the trigger so if you leave it with the battery on and it bumps something it’ll just brraaap itself out of battery
Wait if you’re taking it somewhere you don’t take the battery off? Seems like a no brainer. Battery hand tools tossed loosely around almost always bump the trigger. So they only get to keep the battery in a tool box or on a bench.
i can barely move it around on the bench or in a drawer without triggering it. it’s just a lot more annoying than a drill that has the switch
