Mini-Velos and folders seem to attract strange and kooky riders at a higher rate than any other form of bike.
you have to be ok with looking a bit like a circus bear, so that selects for a certain cohort
Well, theyāre quirky bikes!
If my stable werenāt already overfull wit bikes I donāt ride but canāt sell, Iād be pursuing one.
That Crust needs headtube mounts for a fixed rack atmo.
The lugged carbon forked all-road is pretty hot
These are 100% hand made here in Richmond by friends of Endpoint and Outpost. So thereās that.
FWIW I donāt think itās an unreasonable price since it looks good but itās for a bike I donāt ride much and that affects my personal calculus!
why is the saddle slammed forward on their gravel bike build? I get the short stem
Looks like that saddle has funky shirt rails. But yeah dunno. MTB fit maybe. Trail bikes have gotten uncomfortably steep for me but Iām and XC dork that wants to pedal the whole time so my opinion is irrelevant.
Ages ago I worked at a shop that sold recumbents and tandems (as well as lots of other typical stuff). Management was talking about bringing in a couple of folders and we all were like āno thanks, we are maxed out on that sort of thingā¦ā
As fun as something like the All-Packa looks, I already look like a circus bear on a normal bike. I might as well just ride a skateboard.
Using Send Cut Send or similar you could get good quality for the metal piece. Just bend it and anodize it
Iām a fan of paying other people to do things I have no idea how, and no interest in learning, to do. Like tattoos, frame building, and making bike bags.
I think Soma just teased one too
I feel like Iāve seen a soma mini before. Like years ago.
Mini velos seemed like nerd shit before. Still bike nerdy companies making them, but more of them
Not going to anodize either, but home set ups are a thing
Sendcutsend can do the bending and ano for you
This was to be my winter sanity-keeping project, but I lost my mind before I got to it.
OSHcut and rapidmfg can as well. Never hurts to get multiple bids.
