Look at this bad boy, he’s the kingpin of puns they come so quick. I bet your brain has scaads more just sitting in reserve ready to fire across your synapses.
he came ‘pon a new job
I have an inkling that many years ago someone was asking about this exact style of attachment for something, maybe a bag or decaleur.
Topeak gravel fenders have a rubberized velcro strap that also contains a screw-tightening feature.
Not me but I love it nonetheless!
FYI
New pego Marcelo interno uses this fork
370AC, fits 35s. Has dynamo routing and fender mounts
What’s up with the steerer? Is the 9/8ths bit offset toward the back?
And can we all agree that the backwards rake look is dumb?
It’s for internal routed frames, the D shape allows not-just-beercan headtubes
Found the pinarello hater
Pinarello bikes are ugly, especially their gravel biek.
yeah certified meltybike hater right here. fuck a pinarello.
took me a minute of flipping back and forth to get it but oh fuck i hate it
does it need a special upper headset assembly to seat properly on the D tube?
You know
I thought this was a forum of folks with a finger on the pulse of cycling innovation and capitalism
But here we are
Discussing why the weird Italian shit is weird and why half decade old wire routing is still relevant
Click thru my guy
The d shape allows cables to pass through easier than the o shape
FSA calls their system ACR
Deda calls theirs DCR
Cane creek is HCR
Enve is inroute
King is aeroset
Wolftooth is idk idc
Columbus has a system called trefoil or tritico and it’s a weird spade shape
No6 makes 3 or 4 different aftermarket forks
The big 3 have integrations for all stem systems
Currently the top end models of the pro bikes have wire routing through the stem
Not sure this is going to change for at least a generation of consumer bikes.
Pinarello always been weird.
Pegos shop after Dario rip died has made some choices
You know what that colnago master with the shaped gilco tubing and airbrushed paint is gross ewww

Are these all unique and proprietary?
FSA and enve have different “registration pins” and I think everyone does one or the other
I quit road biking in like 2018 and it definitely shows
Don’t wax my chain
Don’t know nothing about those skinny tops with wide flare drops
Can barely keep my axs gravel bike charged
All this sounds terrible tbh. Weird proprietary kludge shit to do something no one wants. wtf. Also the ui on that deda page is terrible, at least on a phone. But it matches exactly the design philosophy of making weird shapes in stuff that should be round so that one can shove a bunch of cables and hoses through it.
Idk I feel like anyone who had a fixed gear liked it because it was so simple but then moved to regular bikes because they wanted more gears and brakes and the internal routing, though a pain in the ass to maintain, gets the simple elegant aesthetic
Or were you talking about Italians
They do it better
Peg is committed to the ugliest forks
