New to Tarck? Post your bike here.

What are you doing here again?

glad you took a photo of your bike in front of a hospital because if internet slander was cancer and you keep posting pics of your stupid bike then bro im sorry, it’s terminal.

what the fuck is up with those abortion-horns? why do people do that? it’s like having drops without the benefits of having drops. Scott? why did you do that, and how did you see the light?

I dunno. I just got over it. I still don’t use the drops but now I sorta like em for reasons I can’t explain.

I like having multiple hand positions and they’re great for climbing and sprinting. I like drops too but really have to strain my neck to have good visibility in traffic.

Well, yeah. You can ride on the hoods with drop bars. Ride hoods in traffic/commute and ride drops for sprints/descents.

kickass bike bro!

Yep, you could do that too. Different strokes for different folks…

I thought he was a bit tired of sawing people’s limbs off and was resorting to utter sarcasm.

When I read it that way, it was one of the best insults he’s laid down yet.

:bear:

I’ve turned over a new leaf lads. I’ve decided to be super positive and encouraging! I want to make friends!

I endorse this behavior.

This is basically drops in a nutshell. If you spend all your time in the drops and you’re not on the track or riding some retro-grouch velocipede with a meter tall headtube, you’re doing it wrong.

I couldnt agree more. With the style of riding i do though, i would probably be in the drops 10% of the time. Not nearly enough time to justifiable put some on my bike. Oh yeah, did i mention i like how the bullhorns look too.

Eh? I don’t see how riding in the most comfortable position is doing it wrong.

Pros of putting drops on your bike:
Having the position you want for that full 10% of the time you want it
Not looking like a jackass

Cons:
No bullhorn cred

Pros of bullhorns for ME= being in a comfortable position 100% of the time.

Cons= having to justifie likeing them to people that have probably never riden them but hate on them for no apparent reason.
