BEST FIRST POST IN THIS THREAD EVER
I have 6 bikes, plus one being shipped and a frameset in pre-production, but the bike I ride the most is my 61.6cm G2 Kogswell P/R. I just rode it home in the rain with 35-40 pounds of groceries:
Notables:[list]
[] fork has 30mm of trail modified with mid-fork rack tabs, rack is a Kogswell prototype I modified to be line up correctly, both are powdercoated clear %30 gloss
[] the rack is now bent on several axes, we think it was made from the wrong steel, Iām going to braze my own replacement rack in the next couple months
[] the bag is a custom Swift Industries Pelican bag with a cinch closure instead of a roll-top
[] B&M Ixon IQ headlight mounted underneath the rack
[] pre-Alfine Nexus Red-Band 8-speed hub, 50x19 for a 35"-110" gear range
[] Jtek bar-end shifter that I can downshift with my knee, set up with no cable housing past the downtube stop, and a brass bar-end twist-bell on the left side
[] floating ball hitch on the NDS stays for a Haulinā Colin trailer
[] batrape is 4 rolls of white cotton tape in a harlequin wrap that has been re-shellacked several times now, lizards have been shaved off the Cane Creek hoods
[] needle bearings in Stronglight headset eliminates shimmy, 60mm spacer is homemade on a lathe
[] Berthoud saddle and fenders, fenders have 3 mudflaps that I made from toilet-seal rubber
[] Pacenti Pari-Moto 650b tires are at the end of their life after 3000 miles, I just got a double-flat on the way home
[] front brake is temporarily a Shimano BR-550 after the VO brake I had on there failed due to a design flaw

Satisfaction, your bag had it.
Well, thatās a nice bike and all. But I think the point of this thread is that youāre supposed to post a Visp with Aerospokes or Schwinn Varsity conversion with suicide hub or something so we can all feel superior.
So, unfortunately, Iām going to have to give you a āfailā and ask you to try again. That goes for Stronglight, too.
Iāll do my best ā I own a Dawes fixie:

It may predate the fucking of the poor marqueās corpse by 40 years, but it does have a BikesDirect wheelset on it I swear! They are so terrible ā I had to dump a shitload of tension into the spokes to keep the tire from rubbing when gnar is shredded, the bearing races are dull and grainy, and the rear tracknuts crushed their captive washer so I had to put them on backwards.
The crankset is ridiculously JA too, but its swaged-in chainring just barely clears the chainstay and even then the chainline is a few mm off. A friend of mine made a chainstay mandrel last year, sometime soon Iām going to use it to give myself some tire + chainring clearance so I can use real cranks.

GB spearpoint stem? I like them.
