New to Tarck? Post your bike here.

i think one of my favorite new guy moments was with xjoshx when rudy pulled up that pic of a person with fetal alcohol syndrome and compared it to that guys photo, it was spot on. and they fucked up the pyb thread for 5-6 pages .
people used to be pretty mean sometimes, guyswho’s getting it easy.

yep.

he mad.

This is the part you’re missing - none of this is serious. Mostly it’s a lot of trolling for reaction, which is, in fact, a pretty shitty thing to do to someone, but then again, it delivers lulz. Please don’t take it so personally, the people posting these things are literally just playing with you and the more you get butt hurt about it, the more they’re going to do it. I promise.

FUCKING INTERNETS, HOW DO THEY WORK?
naw I’m really not…although my therapist is going to hear about it tomorrow and how it reminded me of when I stepped on poop and was called poopz-mugootz in 1st grade. They made me cry, cry all the way home :<(

Too bad, because that’s what we’re here for.

No. :colbert:

Please remove your lips from Tarck’s ass.

lulz so hard!

holy shit.
it delivers.

Everyday rider for 3 years. Singlespeed with 50/16 for unloaded, and flop @ 50/17 for loaded. Ive added gr-9s and some bar ends since that photo. Made the rack from 3/8ths mild steel pipe. The little guy on my top tube is a squid… gotta get them hipster points!

*Its a Schwinn Le Tour.

its not the size of the gear inches, its how you use them
also get a rear brake

Weak troll.

you ride in oakland, not sf, right?

Too bad, because that’s what we’re here for.

No. :colbert:
haha, awesome.

also, do you have a support for the dawes’ front bag?

Both. I took that bike on tour with the same gearing too. Given, I couldnt ride up devils slide, but im not really sure id have wanted to anyways: shady as fuck! There was a loaded rear rack, and a rear brake, from SF to Big Sur. Took off the rear brake cause I never used it, and never needed to use it since. Im about split between SF and the far east burbs, in terms of riding.

Plexi is to hold the backpack that was normally lashed to the bike, but I was wearing at the time of this photo.

Do you still ride that same white steed ya had up at nudie beach?

What are those crank arms, like 120mm? They barely clear your chainring.

Nope!

It’s this bag: http://www.bikemania.biz/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=LonePeak_H-100

There’s a quick-release bracket clamped to the handlebars, it’s a simpler knockoff of the KLICKfix system. It uses a piece of ‘non-stretch’ cord around the stem to keep it from rotating on the bars, but that doesn’t work very well when you put a U-lock + water bottle in it and then shred the gnar.

The best you can really do is set it up at a really jaunty angle, like 30° up from level, and then slam that shit down to make the cord really taut. Eventually the cord slips from there and it settles into an equilibrium position touching my front brake cable where the weight of my lock balances enough that it won’t get the energy to slip any further.

Well, my calves are 1/4th the length of my thighs. So im about 5’9" but those are 100mm cranks.
