Let me derail this for a second and get a cold take on things…

Here’s the pitch:

Steel
MUSA
Singlespeed 130 spaced (possibly with Surly steeze dangler hanger)
Clearance for 700x30 or so with mid reach road calipers
Removable canti bosses for 650b and clearance for at least 650bx45
Low trail
$800 frame/fork

Basic concept is either an intelligent version of the mashbro work bike or the elusive “low trail fixed gear 650b porteur”

What if this bike, the vapor ware “ursamajorproject”, and coffee grinder all used the same basic fork construction to drive the price down on the fork as an aftermarket piece as well?
