I’m gonna agree with everyone that 98 gear inches is pretty fucking insane.
The largest I’ve ever ridden was 88 and I could barely get the thing going.
Tires: 700X28
The bars? I have no idea, I pulled them out of my LBS’s Used crate-o-handlebars.

Cool bike, but even as a fan of ridiculous ratios, that’s gotta hurt your knees.
i had a friend like that… was rocking a 53/14 for a while, and always looking for smaller… san diego is not flat.
everything is pretty much a dick measuring contest with this dude, but, christ could he top out on flats. we’d be a couple of blocks behind him at the end of any decent length group ride.
