I saw a Primos on the street yesterday and that is one odd looking bike frame atmo.
Huge fat steel downtube, huge fat head tube, huge fat unicrown fork. Just looks hugely fat in all the wrong places to me. Probably a fine bike, probably doesn’t plane though lol.

Stooge got MK8s in. Should I plunk down for a purple frame and try to sell my ice cream truck? I like it in 29+ mode, and didn’t even bother to put fat wheelset on this winter because tbh I think I don’t actually like fatbiking in snow- there’s such limited times when the conditions are decent. I might take a bath on the ICT? Does it matter? We’re all going to die soon anyway or get thrown into camps?

I ditched my ICT for a Nordest Sardinha and don’t regret it one bit. Exact same reasons / situation as you. I sold it to someone who lives in a place that has trails groomed by snowmobiles that have rideable conditions for months.
You’ll get a MUCH cooler looking bike with a slacker front end that’s a bit more forgiving. A lot more variety in tires too.
Kinda surprised how close the geo is, other than the front axle.

My Mk6 might be my all time favourite. The hype is real, these bikes are incredible. If you think you’ll like it you won’t be disappointed.

Oh, I pulled an ADHD and didn’t finish my thought - I talked to the owner of Stooge and he said the thin double tubes at the top made it a bad match for big Clydes. It’s also just a bit too small for me.
I did some research and the Sardinha is basically the same geo, but larger, and the Bikepacking review called it stout, so that’s what I went with.

So, I’m waffling over choosing a frame bag for the Sardinha. I’m going for a full-lacing top, and water bottle bolt mounts on the bottom.
- For people who have a full frame bag, where do you keep your water, and how’s that working out for you?
- For people that have a wedge bag that keeps a seat tube water bottle cage, has that created any issues, other than being aesthetically odd?
I just throw my water bottles in the frame bag. Sometimes I’ll just throw a hydration pack in there too and lean over to reach the spout. I never regret leaving the bags on my favorite bikes.
That being said the next poopbarning trip I’m going to move the water bottles to my Tanaka Caravan double water bottle cage thing.
