Semi parts bin bike. I have a ti GT coming early in the year that gets all the nice stuff. Built this up using as much random stuff that was already around the shop. Only exceptions were the wheels which I already had and the cranks that are just temporary until I something less baller comes along.

DQ Rusty: what kickstand is that? Are those foot pegs I see? please fill me in, I don’t really know shit but would like the xtra im building up to carry my supwife and have a cargo-ready kickstand at the same time.
That’s the cheap crappy kickstand that came with the xtra kit. It’s a piece of junk but I’m too cheap to invest in a good one.
The foot pegs are a piece of PVC that goes all the way through the xtra frame and are held in place with a screw in the hole that the commercially available foot rest things click into.

the tubus fly strut is intended to go to the center hole in the brake bridge, whether it can make it there is another question
as always, rotate your bars down and your levers back up, flat ramps don’t work that way
The strut on the Fly is bendable to get it to work.
hrmm, I was under the impression that how I have it was an alternate installation method since they recommend doing the same with p-clamps for frames without rack mounts.
the way the frame’s cable stop is, getting the strut to the brake bridge without interfering looks to be a no go

this is an older version, but i got this adapter from the touring store i think. kind of sucks because straddle cable length is determined by the adapter.

This is how I got it to work on my Traffic which has a similar bridge as your Salsa:
I bent both the strut itself and the little mounting tab.
