i finished 29th out of 482 in Rouleur Derby (the best fantasy cycling game) and iām quite pleased with myself. i was in 7th before the Vuelta. Disastrous Vuelta.

Just watched the menās elite while on the trainer last night. Holy Shit. Toon was pissed after Laurens snuck up on him for 3rd. Lions vs Sauces was pretty great and Telenet straight fucked that one up. Toon should have attacked hard when he caught his breath after bridging to Lars and Laurens. You saw the pain in Vantournhoutās eyes.
I was so excited after Lars got that gap. One part of the thought that heād take it all the way. But deep inside I knew that he just isnāt capable of that. Heās beat everyone else in the field before, but really only when theyāre not having a good day. His best day isnāt as good as Toon or Eli or Laurens. But Iāll go to my grave rooting for him.

You met him once, right? On his cool down after cross vegas? Was he as cool in person as he seems to be on tv?
Mattie and I rode back to the strip after Crossvegas with him. He was pretty cool. This was prime LVdH time, too. I think it was 2015 and he got 2nd to Wout.

I feel like thereās this weird parallel between pro cycling and armed services. These guys are deployed doing the job abroad then frantically creating a family when at āhomeā.

Just on first lap from what I am seeing on Tiz. But this course is brutal with the deep sand.
Canāt believe NBC sports didnāt get it since they had road worlds. Or, I thought they had said they would have it. I know the channel is going away this year, but would appreciate not a bootleg stream to watch.
Lolol they aired the replay of last years race that I walked in on the end of. Pretty sure I can spoil that one.
