Yes. It’s supposed to help prevent inflammation IIRC.
What a performance. How can you not love this dude?
Even better today!!!
For sure. What a ride.
Can someone give me a high level overview of the major players in the TdF Femmes? As someone who’s relatively new to watching professional cycling, any fun facts or riders/teams to watch would be greatly appreciated.
Start here
Just watched the stage 4 highlights, fantastic stuff.
Racing’s been great in the TDFF so far
stage 5 was dynamite. Not a spoiler: I’m a bit of a fan of Puck Pieterse.
WTF happened today with SD worx? Does the yellow jersey mean nothing anymore, or are they just that confident she can fuck em up in the mountains?
She’s pretty much the greatest. Excited to follow her career unfolding.
Do you watch her blog videos?
Nope, but I might have to now.
I think there was a lot of confusion after that crash. Sounded like a lot of riders didn’t know that it happened. Despite losing yellow, getting a stage win is a decent consolation, I guess.
I don’t mind Blanks Vas (teammate) or Kasia going for the win because she was up there and that’s racing. But someone should have dropped back. They have radios and the car stopped to give her a bike so they knew.
100% right there, everything I’ve read though, has been that the team’s radios were not functioning. Whether or not that’s to be believed is a different story. Apparently Wiebes saw what happened (the video below suggests that she caused Vollering to crash) and then just kept going. Maybe there’s bad blood in the team about Vollering leaving at the end of the season?
Fucking epic finish atop Alpe d’Huez.
“At that point, it was a crazy sufferfest. I went all out, and I just wanted to finish because it was terrible.”
Yeah, that was totally edge-of-the-seat stuff.
This is what I reckon, and a couple of things I’ve read have suggested the same.
Just caught the latest vuelta stage. Can only say lol, what were the GC teams doing?
Vuelta is delivering. Another cracking stage last night.
