refreshing honesty

If I had the money, and didn’t think it would get stolen, I’d buy this gentleman a real sweet ride.

Holy crap. I’m pretty sure I went to high school with that guy. I never would have guessed he would be the peace corp type.

Upon further investigation, he also used to live a block away from me. Wow.

This just appears to be a fellow who knows something about bikes and who is stuck in an area where there is little or no market for high quality bikes. Oh, but I know that feeling.

Props to that guy for the peace corps and all that.
Is that bike sporting the ever elusive spoke guard/fixed combo that BSNYC has been looking for?

yep that looks like the fixed gear pie plate

twisted spokes?

Refreshing anodized dork disk.

One of the most fun looking FGG bikes I’ve seen in a while.

Peace Corps? Ewww, another slimy community activist.

This is putting me in a serious “I’ve done nothing with my life” kind of mood.

I probably spent more on tires today than he did on that whole bike.

gotta lay off the skidzzz

PS is your name inspired by the name of the electronic musician that is inspired by icarus’ father or just the latter?

hybrid crows foot?

The tires were for a new build, not to replace worn ones.

The name was primarily inspired by the musician, though I haven’t been as impressed with him lately. “Invention” and “Of Snowdonia” are good albums, the others are hit or miss.
