SAGlife Bags

I can get one pretty cheap… The Delta Force one. I definitely like how they look and they have some cool bits about it, but besides being trendy, are they actually any good? I can’t seem to find any info on them and I don’t wanna get something that’s purely some hypebeast shit with no actual functionality. Like, is it waterproof? Anyone have one?

Apparently they’re not waterproof.

The only info I have is that they’re mass produced in Hong Kong, feel super cheap and are sold in various department stores in Japan.
That being said, I do like the strap on the messenger bags (its very thick) but the quality of these bags seems far below that of handmade bags like ReLoad, Bagaboo or Seagull.

i thought the airforce1 was waterproof.
i believe its a snowboard pack

the delta force im not so sure about. its looks like a regular backpack like what i had in elementary school.
i wouldnt be surprised if that wasnt waterproof

From what I’ve read even the rolltop one isnt fully waterproof. Which is pretty odd. Other than I havent heard anything but good about them.

Yeah I mean they look like they have some nice features and look sweet but I’m not buying something that isn’t as functional as other bags…

How about this then:

Recommend me a backpack. A pack, not a messenger bag. I’m a two strap kinda muh’fugga. I’ve already looked into the Banjo Brothers bag and it’s very nice, but I wanna see all my options…

i have the chrome rolltop. i like it and its waterproof. i’ve used it as a beer cooler when playing putt putt.

I’ve been thinking about getting a Chrome Ranchero for a while. Maybe I’ll get one for X-mas. If that happens, I’ll let you know what’s up with it.

I have a Freight backpack and I love it. All the Chrome one seems awesome, many friends have them. Check out Crumpler backpacks. I have a small one and I like it a lot. You can get them on Chainlove from time to time too.

I have the medium sized chrome pack. Never used any other biking specific bag so i can’t really compare it, but i like it a lot.

i have the ranchero and i use it very rarely (my black bag gets most of my attention). i’m kinda thin and the straps are super wide so they kinda dig into my shoulders/chest. that’s about the only issue i have with it though.

I’d get the smaller chrome pack if I got any… These are totally legit though? Chrome’s are like THE most popular bag so I wanted to make sure there was a reason for it.

Roll top or pack?

I really want the ergon backpack. I have tried them at trade shows and they really do make the load feel a lot lighter.

i bought the ortlieb messenger from braden last week and so far its been great. It’s just a giant pocket though, no dividers or organizers but if you’re already used to separating your stuff with internal pack (like when hiking) it’s perfect.

Chrome roll top all the way.

yah chrome roll tops are great. ive used mine for a year and a half every day and its still going. reload ones are great too, i had one before the chrome, but the padding in the chromes is very nice. that said, i wish they had side zippers, which i think sags do?

edit: holy shit those ergon bags are nutzo!!!

reload midpack seems nice, next bag i’d get if i ever NEED another bag

My chrome rolltop has held together perfectly for the past few years. Looks as good as the day I bought it. Even the smallest is deceptively large, as it has three major compartments.

I want this motherfucker!
