I’m sure I have at least some of this leftover from my hoard sale, free for the cost of shipping. I won’t be offended if it’s turned down or ends up being re-gifted and not used, just happy to see it gone.
Stem: what length? (I presume 1-1/8" steerer and 31.8 bar clamp?)
Seatpost: diameter? (Is rigid post OK? What kind of length above the clamp might be required?)
Brakes: I do not have calipers, but I probably do have rotors if they end up being needed.
Pedals: I have these random flat pedals, metal with metal pins, nearly new.
Saddle: 99% sure I have a basic black Specialized branded OEM saddle.
Drivetrain: what kind of BB/cranks does that bike take? I have
Square taper double in 5x110bcd. 170 arms (Sugino somethingorother)
Square taper triple 94bcd 170 arms (Shimano LX)
Square taper triple 94bcd 175 arms (Shimano LX)
I also have a more modern set of Shimano MTB double cranks but might be geared too low for what you want I’d need to check. (175 or 172.5 arms)
9/8 steerer and 31.8 clamp short stem like 70 or 80 maybe?
rack would be great
pedals great
I’m hesitant in the crank arms just because chainrings end up being so expensive bought separately but if the mountain cranks are magically like 46/30 that would be cool
Here is a photo of the single camping trip he took before it was stollen. Conveniently found the same frame for this build
Nice 24" wheels, disc, Q/R. Trying to upgrade a kid bike. It has stock wheels that aren’t horrible but would be sweet to get something nicer on there to drop the weight a bit. Sorry I don’t have an exact weight target but something like a Novatec or Bitex or other generic aluminum hub and a disc-specific rim would probably do the trick.
27.2 dropper post, short travel. External cable routing preferred but not critical.
Carpet fiber riser bars in 25.4. Narrow is A-OK for this bike.
The silver Truvativ low rise bars are essentially new, don’t think they’ve ever been clamped in a stem. The next bars to the right are generic Specialized bars that I’d have to measure tho they look to be in the 740-750 range.
I mean gosh maybe my roll needs to be slowed. If you can figure out a way to pack them in the next couple of days, I’ll take them as long as the shipping is no more than 15 or 20 like you said
Did you just wrap them in bubble wrap, and then packing paper and slap a label on them?
Salsa 0-setback crabon post, 27.2x350 mm way. Tiagra 4700 double setup, flat bar shifters. The dangler has some rash, but I think it shifts fine. A Sora 165 mm cronk. I also have an Ultegra 172.5 right crank arm that you could have for the cost of shipping. It’s not part of the recall lot.
A tapered headset of questionable provenance. I think it’s a stock Orbea, but I who knows? An Ultegra road BB that I got from a Tarcker as part of a pair. I think I have another adapter around here somewhere, too. You can have these for shipping.
