I was able to find some on ebay from sellers who are reputable in my book.
Do u really want us to base the legitimacy of your book on some Amazon sellers?
Well I i think the best way to settle this is for you to buy my tome which is a list of reputable online ebay resellers.
There was one hit in germany i think also.
How expensive is protolabs or other online metal printing or cnc services? Small batch custom design for this could be fun if you’re looking at $15-40 for one. These were probably available at co-ops all day for free back in the day
I know the china based ones are slammed hard with tariffs
I wonder if tapping for the threaded adjuster would be the prohibitive detail, but not sure
I believe Mr. Control was at one time revealed to be the manufacturer of the VO Grand Cru brakes. High quality product. Seller has 99.8% positive on 46k transactions. How much more legitimate can you get?
Seriously, .2%
Aren’t you a fucking math teacher
No shot DOE is getting defunded
lol no I’m not a math teacher and also wtf.
@Rusty_Piton anywho I’ve got those two, with a simple housing stop, not a threaded adjuster. Though you should be able to use an in-line adjuster or the kind that fits into a stop (Jagwire Rocket maybe?).
you should set up a livestream and make it an interactive clawgame next time
I know they’re out of stock and ain’t cheap but they’re pretty
Do you need cantis or could you do v’s? If you are looking at cantis because short pull, the ratio change pulleys that’d let you mix pull and use v’s are still around and cheap (I have 4 in strategic reserve).
I’m taking Vs off this bike because they interfere with the front rack. I can’t use a steerer spacer hanger because the headtube is massive and there’s not enough space under the stem.
What I really need to do is modify the stem to be the cable hanger.
Diy cable hanger is very possible. I have it set up with a nitto UI, front derailleur clamp and surly paper clip. The clamp (31.8) fits the stem perfectly.
Looks like @Elliott has what I need and lives very close by!
Tubeless rim brake road wheels, prolly 32h, 100 front 130 or 135 rear.
Anyone got some cool vintage V brake levers to go with my cool vintage V brakes? I’ve got some basic vintage V brake levers that work fine but something cooler would be cooler.
