Stolen Serotta (x-posted from BostonFixed)
literally one year ago. this wasn’t just some pos conversion of a out of the box bike. this was my SEROTTA. i poured my moneys into this thing quite stupidly… about $3,500 of them.

now to get to the point, my friend alex found a custom waterford in his back yard, i would have been the lucky individual to receive the frame for a build i have been planning for my father. i searched the internet hoping to find the gentleman that lost the bike, and so did alex. eventually he was found, in wisconsin! he has not had the bike for 3 years, and i am super happy to report that his bike is making it back to him.

i am hoping that maybe some of you, especially in new york city, could still keep an eye out for my serotta. the loss of this bike may actually be one of the largest contributors of my seemingly constant misfortunes, and the weakness of my legs.

the components are as follows: reynolds ouzo pro carbon fork, shifters, crankset, brakes, derailleurs, are all sram rival (2007), it has a black chris king headset, silver thomson elite seatpost, silver thomson x2 stem, reynolds bars, san marco concor light saddle with ti rails, and the wheelset had silver chris king hubs laced 3 cross to mavic open pros. also the tires were continentals, the front being an grand prix attack and the rear a grand prix 4000, and the top cap on the stem was an fsa. and one last touch, the bar ends were replaced with wine corks… rex goliath wine corks because they have “47 lb” printed on them.

the frame is black with a bit of a sparkle to it, and the decals are gold. on the top tube is a decal that reads “CSI” and the seat tube has a tubing decal that say that the frame is built with colorado concepts C4S steel.

i wish i could find where i wrote the serial number, i believe my ex still has that sketch book, though i am not certain.

please be on the look out still. please, please, please
