o man :([/quote]
haha <3 u fat al

right. the fact that canada invented DH leads to the obvious conclusion of devaluing a custom cyclocross bike with a pro pedigree/history and badass USA colo(u)rway.

I take it you didn’t read anything other than the first post and the post you’re quoting?

doublepostfail

oh, if only that were your only type of fail.

but good for you, this new “cyclocross” trend might result in you saving a few bucks on your next set of white deepv’s.

DH has nothing to do with cyclocross. DH is actually almost as far as one can get from cyclocross as possible so I don’t know why you brought it up at all.

eat a jar of dicks

That a guch-built frame? I got no bearing on price realism, cuz on Australia ebay that thing woulda gone for maybe $1500 or something. We just don’t get good bikes here.

i think dave tiemeyer built most of the ones painted like that and the serial number begins just like what he said the road frames he built got.

yamaguchi didn’t build any of those frames according himself. he helped with the design.

guch never made any gt frames

Gooch > Guch

Sorry my bad.

oh fuuuu. it’s not too late.

In lieu of a picture I give you a thousand words. It’s a 57cm lugged steel deal with track dropouts, but get the image of a track bike out of your mind right now b/c it’s not even close to that. It’s really a randonneuring bike with one gear. I had it custom made for me back when I was insane, complete with Nitto, Brooks, and a bunch of other rarefied stuff that I won’t detail here. Right now it’s got a seven speed internal hub on the back, but if that drives you crazy you can always get a single-speed/fixed wheel built and make it a pure expression of singlespeededness. It up to you, but the seven speed thing ain’t bad. The paint job is Mercian barberpole style (red spiral up the down tube, on mentholatum blue background). It’s really pretty beautiful, and it’s a thousand bucks. There’s a Nitto rack on it, and fenders, and the bars are drop style. Comfy if you’re in the 5’10" height zone. Nothing wrong with it. Never crashed. Call 2oh6 3nine9 7one69 and we’ll set something up.
