thanks tarck for making the trip to pa and phd school a little easier through online interaction and awkward meetups in MI, Chicago, Philly and even NYC. Really only awkward one was MI coz it was the first time and we all knew so much about each others lives.

Thanks also for all the information and dumb questions answered. I use/d this place to get sorted in a lot of what I have done, so I haven’t had to make the poor decisions like that peloton. Though my near purchase of a pink aerospoke, the gb that brought me here initially, was a close call.

Happy belated tarck birthday.

This got me looking back at everyone’s join date. I had assumed that most of the people on here weren’t in the original 300, but it looks more like a 50/50 split between people who joined in the first few days and those who came later. I’m still not sure how people even find Tark now that Zelah isn’t sending all his idiot friends here.

TC: I found tarck because I was reading that Lovely Bike blog and it just didn’t seem quite right. Started typing was doing a search and it suggested “Lovely bike criticism”. That took me to the the Bike Blog thread and I lol’d my way through the entire thing. Had to join after that.
