Hey I’m Smitty from DC. I’m new and I like bikes. For the past few years I’ve been riding and camping on my Black Mountain Cycles Road+ and commuting with my kid on my Jamis Aurora Elite. Just built up a Bassi Hog’s Back and took it on the Amtrak to Richmond for the weekend, it’s going to replace the Black Mountain as the camping bike.

I don’t trust him
Just because they are all steel frames with rigid suspensions, disc brakes, 650b wheels, and slick tires doesn’t mean they are all the same. Look one has thru axles and drop bars.

How was Belle Isle?
Biking in Richmond was awesome and totally different from biking in DC. I did the Coffee Grinder route and stopped in Outpost for a halfway cold brew. Great ride and a great weekend in the city.
