Well, if you try order direct and get jan-blocked we can work something out.
No sign of the blackwall Cypres on the site. Will be interesting to hear if blackwall cypres = gumwall cypres EL.
Also, if Jan’s telling GB ‘no, we (I) don’t want blackwall tyres’ and they don’t hear otherwise, there’s no chance they’ll eventuate, perhaps it’s worth everyone shooting off an email to GB asking if they would produce hetres & cypres’ in a blackwall option, parimoto style?
I once halfheartedly tried to order from I’s. I filled out the international request form and received an email from the shop. It basically said, “we’ll have our US distributor contact you.” A day or so later, I get an email from Jan saying “we do not carry that item. Maybe in the future.”
The Bontrager “23mm” tubeless ready road tires mounted on the wider-style Bontrager Race tubeless wheels measure an actual 27mm. They make a “25” too, so I’m sure that’s even wider.
so no one knows anything about the 28c kojak? roommate brought home the complete schwalbe catalog, 28c kojak was no where to be found.
was the one that i owned an anomaly?
700c?
Previous generation. Current stuff is 35mm only in 700C.
This thread is suddenly relevant. Building up my fisher road bike again into a fendered(maybe) drop bike by spring. Looks like I’ve got some reading to do.
Stay away from Challenge Eroicas. I’ve never had a tire that I just couldn’t mount. A few were challenging, but for the most part I get get them on and off with just my hands.
I spent two hours trying to mount Eroicas last night and all I have to show for it is blistered thumbs. The tires were so tight that I couldn’t even stuff the fucking tube under them. Just ordered Grand Bois Extra Legere 32s and I’m returning these POSes.
Oh I used a tire lever and a tire jack, but all I got was a popped tube. The tires were so tight that stuffing a tube under them was next to impossible.
