Traitor Cycles?

anyone heard of/ridden/seen these guys’ stuff?

The framesets look awesome

which frame(s) did they rebrand?

how do you “take simplicity to the next level,” exactly?

i hate bad sales copy.

my question exactly.

and yeah, the copy is terrible

I really want a Ruben.
Paint Styles:
Pabst Blue Ribbon (Limited Edition) +$120
…

this looks awesome

their bikes suck. alot.

I can haz rear derailleur? 1x9 = new party foul. sigh.

explain

im basing my opinion strictly on presumption and the fact that I am hateful and hate their name/ideas/logos/pbr bike, and know virtually nothing about them. They look like a sparton, cheap and lugged and in a variety of obnoxious colors.

edit: and wtf is going on with the track ends?

fair enough. why do you assume they are cheap though? (in terms of quality, not price)

Seen a few in the shop and they look far more well-thought out and built than most of the big box shit I’ve seen. Some of you guys jump to conclusions too easily. Boo.

finally, a well thought response

I was emailing with the company a bit, nicest people ever. Give them your money.

traitor cycles shills arghhhhhhh

We talked about the Ruben in the randonneuring thread. It looks pretty awesome, but I’m a little bummed on the top-tube cable routing. I’d probably consider it seriously if they were more widely available. Also, I found that Soma makes a disc-ready cyclocross bike that’s available everywhere and for less money. And with better steel.

To say that they look like Spartons is ridiculous, but what else should I except from that fucking idiot? The PBR bike is just about the worst thing ever, though.

that pabst bike makes me sad.

I really like their bikes, but they seem a bit over priced for being 4130 cromo frames made in taiwan,
then again, i could be jumping to conclusions.
If i had the money, i might consider the PBR bike.
