I bought this on eBay but it’s too big. 412 model, year unclear from serial number. 60cm seattube. 57 top tube. New paint and decals. Nice paint with some sparkle. New tange headset that needs to be reinstalled after facing. It binds a little. No rust. Has housing stops instead of guides on top tube. Anybody interested?

Nash, I feel so bad for you for what you’ve gone through to get a decent steel roadie. It shouldn’t be this hard.
I just picked up an XL Novarra Veritas with the coke white Apex for $150. Steel frame, lugged fork, mid reach Shimano brakes looks like it could fit 35s.
I can keep an eye out for a 56-57 steel something for you. What are you prioritizing? Lugs? Trek? Tire clearance?

I think the biggest I ever put on it with 700c was 28mm but it seems like there’d be more than that. My plan was to run 650b x 40.
I have another frame that will work and then I’m going to take a break from bike projects. I don’t know why this one was cursed.
