What did you do to your crosscheck today?

I’ve done ziptied fenders for entire winters, work just fine, weight weenie.

My ESI Racer’s Edge grips were thoroughly trashed so I replaced them with these weird nubbly ODI grips.

Grip companies need to get better at naming themselves atmo.

I rode this thing in the woods for an hour after work for the second time this week

It really needs 170 cranks and a dropper but I’m scared of the lack of set back since I have only ever used setback posts on it.

I too lived in fear of zero setback, then I put a dropper on and it was just fine. Ymmv.

I have two setback droppers. Or is that illusory setback?

Had the day off and spent many hours installing fenders on the Polyvalent and making some little doodads to raise the front rack to clear them. I’d been avoiding that stuff, but it was fun.

I need a 27.2 external so my options are somewhat limited.

And I was mistaken! The 27.2 external on my clyde is not setback.

And neither is the 31.6 on my Bullitt lol! Don’t listen to me!

Getting more comfortable with dirt jumps. Might try to make it to a jump spot with gap jumps.

@BicyclePears saw someone with the pubes gloves today

I think all but one of my derpers has 15 mm setback.

After a full season of riding rigid because I was too lazy to send my fork in to get serviced (yes, I actually am that lazy, it’s ridiculous.) I finally sent the fork in to get rebuilt.

They told me that the orange dials make it go faster.

Should I put maxxis rekons on here?
(if not, what’s the hottest new 2.5"-ish tire for colorado?

put wider marathons, wider bars and a non-cracked steerer riser thing on the folding bike

pretty crazy how bad marathons feel. guess that wasn’t really a consideration in their design.

Cleaned and repacked bearings on HB-7600 track hub. Soooooo satisfyingly smooth.

:white_check_mark: Does it feel better than a flat tire?

Trying to track down a creak / popping sound at the BB on the Polyvalent the last few nights. So far, I’ve swapped pedals (nope), checked crank bolt tightness (nope), checked chainring bolt tightness (nope), pulled the arms and BB and reinstalled them (maybe?). Based on how the DS crank bolt tightens, I think the arm is bottoming out on the step on the spindle of the UN54 before it’s fully seated. Might need to swap the biscuit for an IRD in the bin that doesn’t have the step.

It’s the plastic cup ATMO

It doesn’t have a separate spider does it? My Tune spider can’t seem to stop creaking these days, due to me losing a shim, between the arm and the spider.

The creak in your cranks is usually your handlebars
