That’s a fugn lawsuit
You can’t sue the wind
You can shoot it
weighed it, more portly than I thought even after swapping in a bunch of Record stuff
I’m assuming most of the possible weight loss is in the wheelset and the tires. On the hunt for a set of 20/24 rim brake tubeless rims.
Is that steel or aluminum? That’s still a respectable weight for a frame on the larger side of sizing.
It’s steel but I’m pretty sure I had it around 18lbs before
We had one of these in the shop this week. Uninspired mish mash of parts, but it did ride nice.
If I had the time and physical ability to do roadie shit, I’d have never sold it back. I loved that bike, but a guy in his way to an L4/L5 fusion just cant do roadie shit on anything other than a frikkin Rodriguez.
Actual productive not frustrating bike projects accomplished over the weekend. Laced up a second set of 26" wheels for the disc trucker and didn’t make any major lacing errors like last time, just a minor error after lacing the heads-in spokes first on the first wheel and that was easy enough to work around. The second wheel went just fine. Just need to tension them before the snow starts falling. Replaced and moved the front light on the quick haul with an IQ-XE mounted upside down under the front rack that was blocking the stock light from acting as a be-seen light. Also replaced the VO curvy bars on that bike with some narrow Jones loop bars and a stubby stem and damn if they didn’t feel really good on this morning’s commute. Now up to three non-Jones bikes with Jones bars.
Made a mount for the supernova rear light after I realized that it is not meant to be mounted vertically. This thing is bright.
Is nominate this for a “spooky bike dungeon” tarklebee even if it’s past spooky season
Bro it’s always spooky season
It has a little nest ![]()
Buy the most expensive option and then just duct tape it on wrong
I was just talking to my coworker about how he regrets selling his KM. I’m not gonna show him this picture of your awesome build because it’ll make him sad.
here’s my first gen karate monkey that i don’t regret selling. i traded a set of hayes brakes for the waltworks fork, which had more flex than any fork i have ever used.
wheels were deore hubs to delgados by joel dyke and were bombproof, RIP joel.
(a) it is not duct taped. The extra cable is taped, and that’s GORILLA TAPE.
(b) I fixed it by “fabbing” a “custom” mount!! (that I then wrapped the extra cable around and taped with gorilla tape)
I thought to check the internet today for supernova brackets and found this thing:
Check out the shipping cost to the USA though. Obviously I would hack off the license plate part.
