I’ve found that water stays cooler longer in Nalgene bottles than traditional bidons. Plus, cleaning the overly complex insulated (bike) caps/lids’ nozzles is a pain in the ass.

I have a fancy insulated bivo and it leaks at the lid seal 
I could get an insulated bottle, but would it be a bidon that I purchased from a sweet little bike shop in Barcelona in 2016 on my tour of the southern coast of Spain?

Overhauling my sister’s XO-1. The ergo bars are horrible, but they’re still better than mustache bars. It turns out Sugino chainrings for an XD triple are basically unobtainable in the US anymore (thanks, Trump tariffs). I’m building up a new wheelset because the original Shimano 600 hubs are shot. The frame is cosmetically rough but appears to be in remarkably solid condition. It’s also getting new pedals, new RD and cassette, new cables and housing, new bar tape. Maybe new brakes depending on whether a trip through the sonicator freed up the seized pivot on the rear brake. I had to dust off a corner of my brain that held on to a lot of random parts compatibility information.

New bag for the bird’s bike. Fits perfectly on the woom bars and has a cool magnetic closure that’ll keep his rocks and cicada husks secure.

De-peened some of my old multitools in preparation for rust removal tomorrow. 5-6 years of chains I’d guess.

Are you really breaking that many chains while riding? Or are you using a mini chain tool for shop use?
For shop use. I lost my full-size a long time ago and just grabbed a multitool off the closest bike whenever I needed to break a chain since then.
I have used them road/trailside a few times but it’s been many years since.
