What the hell should I build up? Light touring, rando porteur bike.

I can’t fucking believe it. I’m so stoked.

It could use a repaint but overall it’s in pretty awesome condition. No dents or dings. A bit of rust.

I was looking at the frame and noticed that it only had one pair of water bottle cage bosses. I flipped it over and saw that it had a set under the down tube. Rad.

All of the lug work is beautiful.

Whoo!

Man you crazzy how you find these deals?

I like my BJ, but some of these 650b jobbies posted lately make it feel a bit like a turd.

mander, got my pm?
Nope, something fucked up maybe?

Also, can’t believe you think your bike is a turd. that’s crazy talk
Nah, I don’t think that. It’s just that some of the rando and touring bikes posted lately are close to perfection, maybe too close.

I was just messaging to check if your UK address is still the same. I got the stem a couple days ago (thanks again, bud) and should have that 3/32" chain freed up really soon.

Holy shit, good find!
I still vote Cross Check/Porteur collabo coz chance to cam-ho GreenBean.

Erik and the Green Bean win.

Friend of mine has a sequoia with 105. It’s a nice bike. Sort of the sport-touring brother of the Allez. Not sure what braze-ons you need, but get 'em done then get it powdercoated for another hundred and you’re in business. As for cantis, I’m not sure why you want them unless you need a lot of clearance for mud. Dual pivot brakes tend to work better and have more power than all but the most well setup cantis. I just put the Tektro R556 brakes on my 650b conversion and they stop really well and there’s till a lot of clearance for fenders and whatnot.

Got it!
